Representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the bicycle festival in Beijing

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to China Parahat Durdyev spoke at the opening ceremony of the Bike Festival in Ekpo Park in Beijing on June 15 this year. This is reported by the online edition "TurkmenPortal".

The Beijing Expo Park Cup road cycling competition was held within the framework of the Year of Turkmen Culture in China. Thirty representatives of Turkmenistan took part in the festival. A total of 400 athletes representing 14 teams competed in the tournament. The Cup was claimed by athletes in eight categories among women and men.

In his speech at the opening ceremony, the Turkmen diplomat emphasized that the bicycle festival testifies to the close cooperation between Turkmenistan and China in the fields of nature protection, health care and culture. Durdyev congratulated the athletes for participating in the large-scale event and noted that cycling is an important indicator of a healthy lifestyle.
