Representatives of soccer associations of Turkic-speaking states discussed the problems of improving and popularizing the soccer movement in Turkic-speaking states, holding international competitions (including the Turkic Council Cup) for national soccer teams and clubs, improving the skills of specialists in the field of soccer, strengthening the multifaceted interaction of associations. The talks resulted in the signing of a Memorandum on the joint development of soccer.
The document was signed by the FFT Chairman Arslan Aynazarov, heads of the national soccer associations of Uzbekistan - Ravshan Irmatov, Kyrgyzstan - Kanatbek Mamatov, Kazakhstan - Azamat Aitkhozhin, Azerbaijan - Rovnag Abdullayev, Republic of Turkey - Nihat Ozdemir, Hungary (as observer in the Turkic Council) - Shandor Chanyi, the Turkic Council General Secretary Baghdad Amreev. The event was organized by the Turkish Association.
This agreement aims to strengthen the partnership of soccer associations of participating countries, the implementation of exchange of views of participants in the implementation of comprehensive measures to develop the soccer movement.
