The head of the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Moldova, Toili Ataev, met with the President of Moldova to present his credentials. This is reported on the noi.md news portal.
During the meeting, the Turkmen ambassador and Moldovan President Maia Sandu expressed interest in developing bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as in strengthening political and diplomatic ties.
Toili Ataev also met with State Secretary of the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ruslan Bolbochan. The Moldovan Foreign Minister expressed support and wished success in the fulfillment of the Turkmen ambassador's diplomatic mission.
The sides emphasized the prospects of partnership development in the energy sector and expressed readiness to develop and implement joint Turkmen-Moldovan projects.
