The regular 6th meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation with the participation of heads and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of both countries was held on Wednesday, November 29. This was reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
A Chinese delegation headed by Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Ding Xuexiang arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan to participate in the meeting. The Turkmen side was headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov.
The agenda of the 6th meeting included a wide range of issues related to the implementation of previously reached agreements and further intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation. Trade and economic, transport and energy spheres were identified as priority areas of partnership.
