The theater of Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan showed a play about Makhtumkuli

The Lebap State Musical Drama Theater named after S. Seydi hosted the premiere of the play "Magtymguly, düşdüň yşkyň derdine" in honor of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age"..

The script written by theater director Perhat Khudaiberenov based on the novel "Makhtumkuli" by People's Writer of Turkmenistan Nobatguly Redzhebov tells about the youth years of the great poet. The plot reveals the theme of Makhtumkuli's formation as a poet and tells the story of his touching love for the girl Menli.

The main roles in the play - father, mother, beloved Makhtumkuli - were played by experienced talented actors of the theater.
