Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimiradov presented a report on macroeconomic indicators for January 2024 at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 16. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
According to the Deputy Prime Minister's report, the country's GDP growth rate for January 2024 amounted to 6.3%. The volume of manufactured products increased by 8.2% compared to the same period last year.
The growth rate of retail turnover amounted to 10.6%. The size of average wages at large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 10%.
The Deputy Prime Minister also presented information on the implementation of the National Rural Program. Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions aimed at maintaining the dynamics of GDP growth and coherent development of industries.
