Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with Chief Minister of Punjab Province Maryam Nawaz Sharif on May 8, 2024 in Lahore, Pakistan, on cooperation in the field of investment in trade. Maryam Nawaz spoke about the broad prospects for investment in energy, industry, livestock and agriculture. The Turkmen side expressed interest in developing trade relations between Turkmenistan and Pakistan and attracting investments to Pakistan. Punjab province is the most developed industrial region of Pakistan and has a special importance in agriculture due to the irrigation canal system.
