Today Turkmenistan marks the International Day of Neutrality and the 28th anniversary of the signing of the UNGA resolution on the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument of Neutrality. This holiday has been celebrated by the Turkmen people since December 12, 1995, when 185 UN member states unanimously supported the resolution "Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan".
Turkmenistan, guided by the principles of humanism and peacefulness, takes initiatives to ensure peace and security in the world.
