Turkmen delegation participated in the meeting on regional cooperation in the field of transport

A meeting "Joint Action Plan on the Trans-Caspian Trade Route" was held in Tashkent on January 25-26 with the participation of the Turkmen delegation on strengthening regional cooperation in the field of transport and increasing cargo traffic along the Trans-Caspian Trade Route. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

Special attention during the meeting was paid to optimization of logistics, customs procedures, as well as - to increase the capacity of border crossings along the entire length of the route connecting the countries of Central Asia with Europe and Turkey.

Specific measures on practical implementation and development of transit potential of the Trans-Caspian international transport route were discussed.
