Turkmen journalists take part in media forum in China

The Fifth World Media Forum has started in Guangzhou, China, with the participation of representatives of the Turkmen media. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The event is attended by media representatives from 100 countries, representatives of the Chinese government and the UN. The forum is organized by Xinhua News Agency under the motto "Enhancing Global Trust, Promoting Media Development".

The media forum examined the role of the mass media, in particular, in promoting personal development, building trust, and ensuring security in the world. The prospects for the development of the media space and strategies for international cooperation were important topics of discussion.

The Guangzhou Forum will continue its work until December 8. As part of the forum, a trip to Kunming is planned to discuss the formation of new trends in the media sphere.
