"Türkmenhowaýollary has prolonged the suspension of flights until October 31, 2020 due to precautions on the spread of COVID-19.
The airline said on its website that all flights from Ashgabat to Beijing, Bangkok, Amritsar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Almaty, Ankara, Istanbul, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Minsk, Frankfurt and Birmingham and back have been cancelled.
The air carrier notes that tickets remain valid until December 31, 2021, and passengers of cancelled flights may exchange tickets for any flight before that date. In order to exchange, passengers must wait for the restoration of air service and make a request at the place where the tickets were purchased. It will also be possible to make refunds within this time frame.
