Seven students of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages won the first places in the international online Russian Olympiad. The names of the winners are published on university website.
The competition was held by St. Petersburg State University among students for whom Russian is a foreign language. As The St. Petersburg State University noted that 3,199 people from 98 countries took part in the Olympiad. The organizers made every effort to hold the event virtually in a pandemic environment.
Turkmen students of the university annually participate in various competitions and this is not the first time they demonstrate excellent knowledge of grammar, spoken language and vocabulary of the Russian language. New challenges lie ahead - in February the Lomonosov Moscow State University's International 6-language Student Games will take place.
