During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on July 12, Deputy Prime Minister B. Amanov presented a report on the works on prospecting, development and production of hydrocarbons in the Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea during the first half of 2024 in accordance with the instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The head of state noted the need to intensify the processes of searching for rich hydrocarbon reservoirs in the Caspian Sea. In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to work on attracting foreign companies to geological exploration and development of new fields.
The President of Turkmenistan also emphasized the need to introduce modern technologies at oil and gas enterprises in order to increase production capacity.
