The 17th session of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Ashgabat on November 17-18. This was reported by the online edition of "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The Commission was co-chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Minister of Road and Urban Construction of Iran Mehrdad Bazrpash. Representatives of the relevant ministries of the two countries also took part in the meeting.
In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation, particularly in fuel and energy, transportation and logistics, industrial, agricultural, investment and other spheres. In addition, topical aspects of the implementation of the agreements reached during the previous meeting of the Commission were touched upon.
