Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan explore possibilities for new cooperation in education

Yesterday, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan met with the chairman of the Kazakh scholarship program "Bolashak" to explore opportunities for new cooperation in the field of education. This was reported by the Embassy's press service.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of progressive development of bilateral academic relations between their countries. The sides exchanged views on expanding partnership programs between Turkmen and Kazakh universities in the field of scientific internships and student exchanges. The Chairman of Bolashak expressed interest in Kazakhstan's participation in the upcoming exhibition and conference on health, education and sports scheduled for October 10-12 in Ashgabat to provide detailed information on its educational programs. The meeting concluded with both sides committing to maintaining active contacts and strengthening ties in the field of education by establishing new partnerships with universities and Kazakhstan's possible participation in the upcoming forum in Ashgabat. The parties characterized the discussion as positive and productive.
