Turkmenistan and UAE discuss gas projects

The management of Turkmengaz and the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technologies of the United Arab Emirates, Director General of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber held talks in the online format on July 20. About it reports Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The parties discussed the possibility of implementing joint projects in the gas sector, including ADNOC's participation in the development of Turkmenistan's Galkynysh field and in projects implemented by Turkmenistan at the international level.

Turkmengaz and ADNOC have been cooperating since 2023. The parties confirmed their intentions to continue close cooperation and expand the legal framework for cooperation. The parties noted the need to discuss economic and technological issues related to the implementation of joint projects.
