The Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the Indian Republic organized an online meeting with Indian businessmen and employees of the Indian diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.
The participants in the videoconference discussed possible ways to expand bilateral trade cooperation and investment partnership. India was represented at the meeting by specialists in mining and pharmaceuticals, transportation and logistics, construction, finance and agriculture.
The Indian side noted Turkmenistan's investment attractiveness during the online talks. Head of the Indian diplomatic mission Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat emphasized Turkmenistan's openness to cooperation. To establish regular business contacts, India invited Turkmen business representatives to join the FICCI B2B portal.
