Turkmenistan and Iran studied the prospects of expanding transport communication

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtabi Rozbahani made a working visit to the special economic zone "Serakhs", Turkmen-Iranian dam "Dostluk", terminal and customs on the border of Iran with Turkmenistan in order to study the prospects of expanding transport communication with Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The Iranian Ambassador leading the Iranian delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with officials of relevant Turkmen companies. The visit was one of a series of visits to border checkpoints with Turkmenistan to improve transit and transportation systems and to expand economic cooperation in bilateral and regional formats.
