According to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan exported over 15.2 thousand tons of tomatoes worth about $8.9 million for the period from January to October 2024 inclusive. This is 23% higher compared to the data for the same period of 2023. About it reports MIC of Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan is currently the main exporter of tomatoes to Kyrgyzstan. Other suppliers of this agricultural product are the following countries: Uzbekistan with supply of about 3.6 thousand tons, PRC with supply of 722 tons, Iran with supply of 73.5 tons of tomatoes and Kazakhstan with supply of 4.1 tons, as well as the Republic of Turkey.
