The Mejlis of Turkmenistan has decided to declare 2025 the "International Year of Peace and Trust," TDH reported.
This decision was taken with a view to strengthening the country's international prestige, broad propaganda and popularization of domestic and foreign policy based on the principles of international cooperation, glorification of the glorious 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the original traditions of peacefulness and benevolence.
This initiative is based on the rich historical traditions of the Turkmen people and their desire for peace and harmony. It is intended to support international efforts to build confidence between States.
The decision to proclaim 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust was taken taking into account the proposals of public organizations, labor collectives and citizens of the country.
