The Turkmen specialists took part in training sessions aimed at teaching them how to operate and monitor air quality.
These devices were handed over by the UNDP country office as part of a joint project with Turkmenistan on the integrated development of green cities in Ashgabat and the national tourist zone Avaza.
UNDP and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan discussed how to standardize devices in the country.
Employees of environmental control services and laboratory technicians were familiarized with the functions of the devices, their capabilities and operating procedures. In particular, the specialists learned about the operation of the ATMAS air analyzer, which was among the equipment transferred to Turkmenistan.
