Turkmenistan presented a compendium on the role of sport in peace-building

Within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport has published a collection of theses based on the results of the international scientific-practical conference "Sport - Ambassador of Peace". It is reported online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

The publication reflects the principles of Turkmenistan's foreign policy course aimed at strengthening international cooperation, friendship and trust through the mechanisms of sports diplomacy. The collection brings together scientific materials of the forum participants from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Romania, USA, Armenia, as well as Turkmen scientists and representatives of the sports industry.

The papers presented on topics such as the role of neutrality and sport in peace-building, the philosophy and promotion of healthy lifestyles, and innovation in physical education will be useful for teachers, coaches, athletes and a wide audience.
