Turkmenistan participated in the inter-parliamentary forum of Central Asia

Turkmen parliamentarians represented the country at the Second Interparliamentary Forum of Central Asian countries, which was held in Uzbekistan's Khiva on September 12. This was reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenportal.

The purpose of the event is to support inter-parliamentary cooperation of the countries of the Central Asian region, develop inter-parliamentary cooperation and promote parliamentary participation in the socio-economic development of the countries.

Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan spoke about the country's experience in improving the activities of representative agencies and increasing the participation of women and the younger generation in the socio-economic life of the state. The delegates noted the successful experience of expanding partnership between parliamentary friendship groups and relevant agencies.
