Turkmenistan participated in Novruz celebrations in Kyrgyzstan

On March 19, 2024, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan took part in a cultural event and concert program "Novruz in the Turkic World" dedicated to the International Day of Novruz Bayram in the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The event was also attended by diplomats from Uzbekistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan, representatives and students of Bishkek universities. Ambassador of Turkmenistan N. Golliev spoke about the planned events to be held throughout the country, as well as in Nowruz ýaýlasy in Akhal province.

Exhibitions of books by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will be held. A number of events are planned in Turkmenistan to mark the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the announcement of the city of Anau as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2024.
