Turkmenistan participated in the CASCA+ meeting

On September 6, representatives of railroads of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey met in Georgia on the development of the international multimodal route CASCA+. This is reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

The Turkmen delegation was headed by S. Nurberdiev, Deputy General Director of Demiryollary OJSC. The parties discussed the expansion of international cooperation in the field of logistics, activation of the CASCA+ transport corridor and realization of the potential of the participating countries in the field of road, air, sea and railway transport.

A Protocol on the development of the multimodal corridor was signed as a result of the meeting. During the visit to Georgia, the delegations of the participating countries visited the new multimodal container terminal in Poti.
