Turkmenistan plans to purchase 700 modernized buses from Chinese partners of Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. to ensure efficient passenger transportation on intracity routes. This is reported by the Internet publication CentralAsia.news.
The draft Decree on the purchase of buses was presented to the President of the country by the Director General of the Agency of Transport and Communications M. Chakyev during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on January 10. The head of the agency also presented a report on the agency's activities to improve public services related to intracity passenger transportation.
The President of Turkmenistan signed a decree on the purchase of modern buses and emphasized the importance of modernizing the transport infrastructure and improving the quality of the intracity bus system.
