Medical minibuses handed over to Turkmenistan

The United Nations Development Program has handed over seven new medical vans to Turkmenistan as part of a grant from the Global Fund for the Treatment of Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis. This is reported by the Internet publication "AsmanNews.

The new medical special vehicles will be used for long-distance trips, preventive examinations of the population and examinations with the help of X-ray equipment installed in the minibuses for the timely detection of tuberculosis. The minibuses will be used to transport medical equipment and biological materials for further analysis.

One minibus will be given to each of the velayat centers of the country, one unit of special transport will work in the capital of Turkmenistan. One minibus will also be provided to the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev.
