Turkmen students among the winners of the Spartakiade held in Kazan

On May 22-23 in Kazan (Tatarstan, Russian Federation) there was held a field day for international students studying at universities of the city.

Among the winners of the competition was a volleyball team of children from Turkmenistan, who study in Kazan. They became bronze medalists, losing the 1st place to the team of KFU and KAI, which took the 2nd place. The student team from Turkmenistan successfully performs at various events held in Tatarstan. The victory in this competition was secured by: O. Tanryberdyev, Ch. Saparov, B. Durdyev, B. Allaberdyev, M. Yazyev, D. Babaev and R. Khemraev.

In honor of the 140th anniversary of the capital of Turkmenistan, the student volleyball team took the initiative to give a new name to their team - "Ashgabat 140".
