Turkmen delegation visited the Clark-Freeport economic zone

As part of a working trip to the Republic of the Philippines, the Turkmen delegation visited the Clark-Freeport Free Economic Zone on August 3. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed during a meeting with representatives of the Base Transformation and Development Authority. The Philippine side presented a presentation on the Clark-Freeport Free Economic Zone and a project to create a modern eco-friendly city.

After a tour of the Clark area, the Turkmen side expressed interest in sharing experience in the creation and management of free economic zones. The Turkmen delegation presented the city of Arkadag and invited the Philippine side to visit the first "smart" city of the country.

It was noted that the exchange of experience will contribute to the development of cooperation between the two states in the field of economy.
