Turkmen delegation takes part in the meeting of the Working Group on Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO

From 5 to 6 December in Geneva was held a meeting of the working group on Uzbekistan's accession to the World Trade Organization, which was attended by a delegation of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet resource "CentralAsia.news".

At the moment Turkmenistan is closely studying the experience of other countries that have joined and are joining the WTO. This makes it possible to better understand the requirements of the Organization and identify priority areas for reform. The experience of Uzbekistan is considered by Turkmenistan as an illustrative example for creating its own strategy of accession to the WTO.

Accession to the Organization will allow Turkmenistan to better integrate into the global economy and gain increased access to international markets, as well as attract new investments for even more effective development of the national economy.
