Judoka from Turkmenistan Maisa Pardaeva won her first fight and entered the 1/8 finals of the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in France. This is reported in the online edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
The opponent of the Turkmen athlete at the starting stage was judoka Tsai Qi from China. Pardayeva showed a high level of skill and tactical competence. Already in the third minute of the fight, Maisa Pardaeva won a clean victory - she was scored an "ippon".
In 1/8 finals Maisa Pardaeva fought with Brazilian athlete R. Silva. The fight was spectacular and tense. 15 seconds before the end of the 2nd minute, the Brazilian athlete was counted "ippon", as a result of which the chance for the Turkmen athlete to reach the 1/4 finals was lost.
