Turkmen judoists won medals at the Asian Championship

The Asian Judo Championship among cadets was held in Tashkent. Turkmen athletes won two medals - silver and bronze. This was reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Sixteen sets of medals were played for which 181 athletes from 15 countries competed. The Turkmenistan team included 18 athletes, including 10 men and 8 women. Nuriya Pardayeva, a 10th-grade student of a secondary school in Lebap velayat, won a silver medal in the weight category up to 40 kg. Having defeated athletes from India and Kazakhstan, she lost only in a duel with an athlete from Uzbekistan.

Behruz Bakhridinov, an 11th grade student of Ashgabat's Olympus sports school, won a bronze medal in the 50 kg weight category. After losing in the first fight to a Kyrgyz athlete, Behruz defeated his rivals from India and Iran to win the bronze medal.
