Turkmen and Iranian customs officers held a meeting

The delegations of Turkmenistan headed by the head of the Customs Control Department of the State Customs Service A. Niyazov and Iran headed by the head of the customs post "Lutfabad" Korban Karimi at the customs post "Artyk" of the Akhal Velayat Customs Service held a regular working meeting. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The meeting was attended by representatives of customs, migration and border guard services, "Turkmenavtoulaglari" and "Turkmendemirellari" Agencies, "Turkmenulaggozegchilik" State Enterprise, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as the Consul General of Turkmenistan in Iran.

In the course of the meeting, the prospects for the development of road freight transportation through the Artyk-Lutfabad customs checkpoints were discussed by increasing the working hours of checkpoint specialists, simplifying the issuance of visas to drivers and speeding up cargo inspections.
