Turkmen athletes won three bronze medals at the World Kickboxing Championship held in Portugal from November 17 to 26. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".
Turkmenistan was represented at the tournament by students of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. According to the Lowkick version, in the weight category up to 75 kg, Khojalyev Geldymukhammet took the third place after three fights with athletes from Slovakia, New Zealand and Ukraine.
The third place was also awarded to Gurbannazarov Gurbanmuhammet. In the weight category up to 75 kg according to Fullcontact he had fights with athletes from Portugal, Greece and Kazakhstan.
In the weight category up to 71 kg by Fullcontact on the results of meetings with athletes from Kuwait, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Bazarov Narzulla won a bronze medal.
