Turkmen masters in Kurash wrestling won 11 medals at the Asian Championship

14 Turkmen athletes represented the country at the 13th Asian Kurash Wrestling Championship held in the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

The athletes managed to win 1 gold and 10 bronze medals. Aishirin Haydarova, coach of the 2nd sports school of Chardjevo etrap of the Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Lebap province, brought a gold medal to the Turkmen team. Among women, bronze medals were awarded to Rozymengli Meymanova, Nurana Hezretova, Sabina Kadyrova and Nursoltan Erniyazova.

Among men, Serdar Babamyradov, Dovlet Hemrakuliev, Mekan Pardabaev, Dayanch Omirov, Ylham Kemalov and Ishanmyrat Ataev won bronze medals. In total, about 200 wrestlers from 20 countries took part in the tournament.
