The Turkmen State Library hosted a literature evening

Famous Turkmen cultural and art figures took part in a literary evening organized at the State Library on the eve of the Day of Culture and Art Workers. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age"..

The event was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and was called "Culture is the light of human soul". The speakers noted that Turkmenistan has been working on popularizing and developing culture and different genres of art.

In honor of the Day of Culture and Art Workers, a Culture Week dedicated to the poetry of Makhtumkuli Fraghi will be held in the city of Arkadag. The Week of Culture will include creative actions and events dedicated to the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Turkmen poet and thinker.
