Turkmen athletes win 22 medals in karate tournament in Armenia

Turkmen athletes won 22 medals at the international tournament "Ararat Cup-2023" on traditional karate held in Yerevan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Karate practitioners from Armenia, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Italy, Cyprus, Israel and Russia fought for the gold of the tournament. The tournament included team and individual scoring in various age categories. The national team of Turkmenistan won 10 gold, 4 silver and eight bronze awards.

Coach of the national team of Ivanovo region of the Russian Federation Rudolf Grigoryan spoke about Turkmenistan's karate players as strong and worthy opponents and said that Turkmenistan's karate team was invited to Ivanovo for the tournament "World Cup-2024".
