Turkmen students won gold at the MUNiG Informatics Olympiad

From April 15 to 19, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakaev held the II International Olympiad in Informatics, which was attended by students from 18 countries. This is reported by the Internet edition "Vestiabad".

During the competition, the participants solved programming problems and developed complex software in the field of cyber security. An excursion to the historical city of Nisa was organized for the foreign guests, during which they got acquainted with archaeological sites and historical heritage.

According to the results of the intellectual competition, students from Turkmenistan won 43 medals, including 10 gold medals. In terms of the number of awards, the Russian team with 17 medals took second place, the third place with 10 medals was taken by the Chinese team.
