Geldimyrat Muhammedov, head of the department of the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, and researcher Annaoraz Nurmuhammedov will go on a creative trip to India from January 21 to February 9 to search for new historical information about the era, life and creative path of Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
As part of the trip, it is planned to study manuscript and book collections in India to identify sources of scientific value and obtain copies of them. The work of the Turkmen scientists will take place at the National Museum of India in New Delhi, the Raza Library in Rampur, the Bangiya Sahitya Parishat Literary Society and the Asia Society in Kolkata.
The forthcoming trip is already the fourth business trip of Turkmen scientists in search of sources of information about the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people.
