Turkmen State Medical University held an international biology Olympiad

The State Medical University of Turkmenistan organized and held an international Internet Olympiad in biology among students of medical and other higher educational institutions. This was reported by the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

Reportedly, the main goal of the Olympiad was the implementation of state policy in the field of digital education and popularization of natural sciences.

Teams from 26 countries from near and far abroad took part in the competition. The international jury was composed of teachers from Turkmenistan and Russia.

Based on the results of the intellectual competition, 79 participants from different countries were awarded medals and diplomas of winners. The best collective results were shown by representatives of Turkmen and Russian universities. Half of those who distinguished themselves in the Olympiad were students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
