Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov held a meeting with Nobutaka Maekawa, appointed vice president of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), which works to promote trade and investment between Japan and other countries, in Tokyo on November 28 this year. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The prospects of establishing Turkmen-Japanese cooperation in trade and economic sphere were discussed during the meeting. In addition, the sides discussed the implementation of the agreements reached earlier.
The Japanese side expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in establishing business contacts in the sphere of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The sides emphasized mutual commitment to the establishment and development of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.
