Turkmen cultural evening in honor of Independence Day was held in Brussels

A cultural evening "Treasures of Independence: A Celebration of Turkmen Heritage" was held in Brussels on the occasion of Turkmenistan's Independence Day. The event, organized by the country's embassy, gathered diplomats, representatives of EU institutions, the Secretary General of the Benelux Union, as well as cultural and media figures. The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan. online edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age." 

The key feature of the evening was the participation of Turkmen designers who presented modern culture. As part of the program prepared by the founder of the Central Asian European Creative Alliance Elena Kharitonova, a fashion show of Göwher Gouvernet brand by its founder Govher Gouvernet-Pirkuliyeva was held. The collection was accompanied by a specially created musical composition by Maral Rakhimova, an employee of the Embassy. In her experiment, she used artificial intelligence to combine the sound of traditional Central Asian instruments, demonstrating the potential of technology to renew culture.

Speaking at the event, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan emphasized that, celebrating the 34th anniversary of independence, the country relies on its millennial history and cultural code, which has been passed on from generation to generation. He also noted that Turkmenistan's neutral status creates a platform for dialog and creativity fills it with new content. Gaia Danesa, Cultural Advisor of the European External Action Service, supported this idea, pointing to the importance of cultural exchange.
