Five sports competitions were held in Dashoguz velayat of Turkmenistan

Competitions in table tennis, weight lifting, tug-of-war, as well as intellectual games - checkers and duzzum - were held at the sports ground of the Financial and Economic Secondary Vocational School in Dashoguz province. This is reported in the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The organizers of the competitions were the Financial and Economic School of Dashoguz velayat and Dashoguz City Council of Trade Union of Workers of State Institutions. The winners in each sport were announced, who received valuable prizes and certificates of honor.

The best in table tennis were Sh. Taganov and N. Ayitbayev. The winners in weight lifting competitions were K. Kalandarov, Y. Saryev, A. Annaev. K. Kalandarov, Y. Saryev, A. Annaev. The best players in a checkers were recognized Kh. Saparklychev, E. Nurtaev. A. Bainazarov, M. Rozmetova distinguished themselves in the national game of duzzum.
