The first game of the third season of the "Young Messengers of Peace" was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
Pupils of 10th and 11th grades of schools of Ashgabat, Akhal, Mary and Balkan velayats performed in the first game. The theme of the first game of the contest was "Dovletmammet Azadi and international relations in Central Asia in his era".
According to the results of the first day of the competition, the winners were Guljemal Orazova, an 11th grade student of the capital's secondary school No. 108, and Jeyhun Hojageldiev, a 10th grade student of the Turkmenbashi specialized boarding school in Ashgabat.
The jury included Rakhmanberdi Godarov, a researcher of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Makhtumkuli ANT, Ph. Rakhmanberdi Godarov, candidate of historical sciences, and senior lecturers of IMO MFA Begench Karayev and Baba Saryev.
