Turkmen-Chinese Friendship Equestrian Complex opened in Beijing

On Monday, March 20, a solemn event was held in Beijing to mark the international holiday of awakening of nature Novruz, as well as the opening of the Turkmen-Chinese Friendship Equestrian Complex.

Ambassadors of diplomatic missions of various states in China, heads and employees of private enterprises, youth of Turkmenistan and China took part in the opening ceremony of the Complex.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China, as well as the Beijing Sherwood Equestrian Club and the Chinese Horse Breeding Association.

П. Durdyev, Ambassador of Turkmenistan to China, in his welcoming speech emphasized that the samples of Turkmen art are included in the list of intangible heritage of humanity of UNESCO, urging everyone to get acquainted with the original cultural traditions of Turkmenistan.

Melodies of national instruments of Turkmenistan were played on the arena of the Beijing Equestrian Club, and a folk dance Kushtdepdi was shown. The guests of the event saw Akhalteke horses and were able to take memorable photos.
