Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium meets with Deputy Mayor of Luxembourg

On Tuesday, March 21, Sapar Palvanov - Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium - arrived on a working trip to Luxembourg to present his credentials. The solemn ceremony of meeting with the Grand Duke of Luxembourg is scheduled for Wednesday, but on Tuesday Palvanov had a conversation with Maurice Bauer - Deputy Mayor of Luxembourg.

Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Belgium told representatives of the Luxembourg City Hall about the construction of a "smart city" in Arkadag, which is the administrative center of the country's Akhal province.

The Turkmen diplomat made a presentation of innovative technologies and a fundamentally new principle of construction, which is based on an ecological approach and introduction of intelligent digital solutions and communications into the urban environment.

The sides also discussed the establishment of twinning ties between Ashgabat and the capital of Luxembourg.
