A new city of Turkmenistan was presented at the ABU forum

Within the framework of the ABU Global News Forum, which was held in Malaysia on July 10 this year, the head of the Turkmen delegation, Editor-in-Chief of the International Information Center of Turkmenistan T. Hodjaev presented to the guests the presentation of the first "smart" city of Turkmenistan Arkadag. This is reported by the International Information Center of the country.

In the presentation, Hodjaev talked about the new unique Turkmen city. Arkadag is located 30 kilometers southwest of Ashgabat and is the first "smart" city not only in Turkmenistan but also in the Central Asian region.

Khodjaev noted that much attention is paid to environmental friendliness in Arkadag - the city is provided with electric buses, electric cars and electric cabs, "smart" parking lots, solar panels and wind turbines. The city occupies an area of more than 1,000 hectares and is located in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains.
