From September 1 this year, theaters of Turkmenistan will show performances dedicated to the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
The initiative of the cultural theater marathon belongs to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who attaches great importance to the development of creativity, culture and art.
According to the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty, it is necessary to actively involve young people and students in theater productions. Showing plays about Makhtumkuli Fraghi in Turkmen theaters is related to the upcoming celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of Turkmenistan in 2024.
