Vice-Rector of Cappadocia University Vesile Shenol met with Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Turkey M. Ishanguliyev. This is reported on the website Centralasia.news.
During the meeting, Vesile Shenol introduced the ambassador to the activities of the university, spoke about the open campus concept, various faculties, master's and doctoral programs, research activities of the university, and scholarships for students.
The Vice-Rector of the university noted that the educational institution continues to cooperate in accepting foreign citizens for training.
Earlier, Chairman of the Department for Compatriots Abroad and Kindred Communities of Turkey Sayit Yusuf said that more than 15 thousand Turkmen students study in Turkish universities. Turkey plans to increase the number of quotas for scholarship education 2.5 times.
