Bulgarian Ambassador accredited in Turkmenistan

Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova accepted credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Turkmenistan Ruslan Stoyanov on June 20. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Д. Gulmanova congratulated the Ambassador on the appointment and expressed readiness to assist in the realization of his diplomatic mission. The Chairman of the Mejlis familiarized the diplomat with the foreign policy strategy and the main priorities of the country's domestic policy.

The parties expressed mutual interest in expanding cooperation in the legislative sphere.
The Turkmen-Bulgarian partnership was prioritized in the trade and economic sphere. The sides discussed joint implementation of projects in the cultural and humanitarian sphere, in particular, in the fields of education, science and culture.
